Ken Rivers

Ken began his insurance career in 1999 as an agent at a family owned agency. Four short years later, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to Locust Grove where he opened R&M Insurance in 2003. Ken specializes in commercial insurance, as he enjoys helping other business owners find success in their business while protecting personal assets at the same time. He believes that true success is not how much you can take out but how much you can put in. Ken has served on numerous non-profit boards, serves in leadership at his church and was elected to the Butts County Board of Commissioners in 2017 where he serves as Commissioner for District 1. When Ken is not working, he might be found on the golf course or coaching little league baseball.

Monique Rivers

Commercial Lines CSR

Monique has been around the insurance business ever since she married Ken Rivers in 2006. With a background in project management, Monique brings over 10 years of experience to support the agency. By focusing work efforts around what is practical and feasible, she creates a sense of calm and a spirit of cooperation within her team. She also manages our commercial book of business and spends lots of time seeing that all of their needs are met. When she is not crafting new systems for our office Monique enjoys crafting at home, in her garden club and at Southside Church with the children she teaches every Sunday. She loves watching her son play baseball and spending time with her daughter when she comes home from college.

Kathy Cook

CSR

Kathy joined the R&M Insurance staff in 2018. After spending 10 years in the insurance industry she was happy to join an agency in her home town. Kathy is a customer service specialist and her smile brightens everyone’s day.

When Kathy is not busy helping our customers, she enjoys camping, spending time with grandkids and spoiling her dog and the office dogs.

Olivia Snow

Agent

Olivia joined the R&M Insurance staff in 2018. Olivia is the picture of the independent and driven woman. While working in the retail industry she decided that she would get herself licensed in both Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance. Shortly after getting her license she joined a captive agent and eventually decided she liked the freedom afforded by working in an independent agency. Give her a challenge and she will figure it out. When she is not working with one of our clients Olivia is outside chasing her toddler, camping with the family or anything outdoors.

Office Dogs

Let’s be honest, these two don’t do much. They love to come to work every day to see who might come and visit. They love attention so if you stop by expect to be greeted with some barking and wagging tails. When we don’t have visitors, they can be found napping somewhere or staring at Kathy waiting on their next treat.
